The ministry of Helping Hands is reflected in its name. It is a group that serves God through service to others within our church body.
At our meetings, we help the church office with mailings, we make bandages from donated sheets for White Cross Ministries, and we assist any other groups or ministries if our help is requested. Additionally, each year we do a project to brighten the Christmas season for a church-related group here or somewhere in the Valley.
Helping Hands membership consists of both men and women and is not age specific although most are seniors. The group meets in the Multi-Purpose Room from 10am until Noon on the first Thursday of the month from September through May. Participants who can stay longer bring a bagged lunch to eat following the work session as they enjoy fellowship and build friendships.
